Polish Day Parade Guidelines
- All entries must be appropriate and in good taste, at the discretion of the Polish Day Parade Committee.
- Buses, tow trucks, or any vehicle deemed unsuitable will not be allowed in the parade.
- All parade entries must be appropriately decorated, including the vehicle pulling the entry.
- All parade participants such as scouts, scout leaders, veterans, and others must be dressed in a uniform or costume.
- Each entry should provide a banner or other signage for identification.
- All equestrian units must make their own arrangements for clean-up in the parade forming area, along the parade route, and in the parade disbanding area.
- No parade participant may join or exit the parade once it is in progress.
- No alcoholic beverages or food are permitted while the entry is on the parade route.
- For safety reasons, no items such as candy may be distributed along the parade route. Items may be distributed by someone walking on the sidewalk along the route, provided the committee is notified prior to the parade.
- All children must be met at the designated areas in the parade disbanding area.
- Any parade participant who does not adhere to these guidelines may be prohibited from participating in future parades.
- The committee will attempt to accommodate all preferences regarding parade lineup position or other requests. However, it may not be possible to grant all requests. The committee reserves the right to alter the parade lineup or make other changes at any time.
